Outdoor Memories: It’s About…Family, Friends, and Lifelong Skills
Have you ever thought about what your hunting endeavors mean to you? When you look back on your fondest outdoor memories, do you remember who was on the hunt, the inside jokes, and the skills that you are still using today?
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, the Big Game Conservation Association, and many other partners have come together this fall to remind hunters and shooters of the importance in mentoring your family and friends in your favorite outdoor activity – hunting. Through a series of six videos, current hunters are being reminded that the time spent in the tree stand or the blind is never just about the hunt. It’s about so much more. You can check out these videos and share them on your own social media pages by visiting the Nebraska Game & Parks Facebook page.
Our outdoor pursuits are most enjoyed when shared with family and friends. Often times, people are just waiting for an invitation to the great outdoors. The next time you head to the woods or to the lake, ask someone to go with you! The excitement of hunting, shooting sports, and fishing is at its best when enjoyed with others.
Happy Hunting,
