1st Annual Sporting Clays Shoot – Oak Creek Sporting Club – Brainard, Nebraska

The Big Game Conservation Association’s 1st Annual Sporting Clays Shoot was held on June 4 at the Oak Creek Sporting Club in Brainard NE.  With beautiful weather, a solid turnout, and awesome prize packages from Mead Industries, Purina and Hornady, the event was a success.  With a few of us demonstrating poor shooting abilities, just as many participants showed up with strong shooting performances and took home winning hardware to show for their efforts.

With the continued growth of the BGCA, we again thank all of our supporters who come out and participate in our events to help raise money that stays right here in Nebraska.  Your continued support has enabled us to start a new branch in the Kearney area.  Feel free to Like them on Facebook and follow along with what they are accomplishing out there and catch up with them at a monthly meeting.  We also are gearing up to start branches in Omaha and Lincoln.  We will be having an informational meeting in Lincoln on June 20 at Misty’s in Havelock starting at 7pm.  We’d love to see you come out, learn more about what we are about and possibly become an involved volunteer.

We look forward to next year’s sporting clays shoot and would love for you to come out and show us how to shoot!  Thank you for your continued support.
